Fish fillets marinated with salt and lemon juice. Then coat the fish with flour, breadcrumbs, eggs then fried until cooked and golden in color. Served with a creamy tartar sauce.

Ingredients Recipe Crispy Fish and Chicken with Tartar Sauce :
  • 8 fish fillets/alternative Seabass
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 egg beaten slightly
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • Breadcrumbs
  • The oil for frying
For Tartar Sauce:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 tomato, seeded and very finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons of chopped celery
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
How to Make Fried Fish with Tartar Sauce

1. Soak the fish in a basin of salt and lemon juice for less than half an hour.

2. Then Wash the fish and dry and dip it into the batter that has been seasoned, put it until it is thoroughly blended and then lift it.

3. Now dip the fish in a beaten egg and then into the bread crumbs, being careful not to wet the rest of the crumbs.

4. Repeat dipping the fish into the batter and mix with breadcrumbs again and set the fish aside until it is ready to be fried.

5. Then mix the sauce ingredients together, to make the Tartar Sauce.

6. Before serving, heat the oil but don't overheat it because it can result in overcooking in one go and then fry the fish until cooked and golden brown.

Note: do not forget to serve it warm to make it more delicious.
