Strudel Apple

Strudel Apples are popular pastry preparations in addition to croissants and millefeuilles. Unlike the croissants popularized by France, Strudel is popular in continental Europe and Strudel Apple is originally from Austria.

Strudel is usually used as a dessert with a set-up of fruit-flavored with sugar and cinnamon. The most popular fields are apples and raisins. But other fruits that have a sweet and sour taste and crunchy texture can actually be used as a dessert.

Material:


  • 2 pieces of instant puff pastry
    Nice Strudle Apple
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tablespoons of liquid milk


Material contents:


  • 4 apples
  • 40 grams of raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon water
  • 60 grams of sugar palm
  • 1-2 tbsp of sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp cornmeal
  • 25 grams of margarine, cut into small cubes



How to make:

  • Peel the apple skin and slice it thinly.
  • Add enough lemon juice and stir until smooth.
  • Add sugar palm, granulated sugar, raisins, salt, cinnamon powder, stir until blended.
  • Store in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  • Remove from the refrigerator, add cornstarch, mix well.
  • Heat over medium heat until thickened and soft.
  • Then add margarine, let it melt first, mix well and lift.
  • Place the apples in puff pastry then fold.
  • Brush with egg yolks and whipped liquid milk.
  • Next to the middle slice.
  • Oven until approximately 40 minutes while checking whether it's cooked or not yet cool.
  •  The last cut according to taste and the strudel is ready to be served.
