King sandwich bread recipe
King sandwich bread recipe It's easy to make and is perfect for French sandwiches and toast too. Why is that delicious because King sandwich bread is a favorite food for America and Europe, while Asia has food that is identical to rice and so on. I told stories and made this recipe because of my experiences when meeting strangers in various parts of the world and I can say like to try foods that I have never had before to be able to taste like that country. This time outmyreciepe.com will provide the recipes below

King sandwich bread recipe ingredients:

  • 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 cups of unbleached multipurpose flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons of instant yeast
  • 1/4 cup of sugar or honey
  • 2 3/4 cup of very warm water
  • 1/4 cup neutral flavor oils (such as grape seeds, canola, vegetables, avocados)
  • Butter for the top of bread, optional

The steps to make King sandwich bread recipe :

  1. First of all in an electric holder mixer bowl equipped with a dough hook (or in a large bowl, if making the dough by hand), mix THREE cups of flour, salt, yeast, and sugar.
  2. Next, add water and oil and stir until mixed. The mixture will be thinner than the bread dough.
  3. Cover the bowl and let the mixture rest for 10 minutes; it will be a little bubbly at the end.
  4. Then with a walking mixer (or stirring by hand), gradually add 3 to 4 cups of flour, until the dough merges in a cohesive ball that cleans the bottom and sides of the bowl and does not leave much of the remaining dough on your fingers when touched while still slightly sticky (not too dense and dense).
  5. Knead for about 2 minutes until the mixture is smooth and chewy.
  6. Apply a little large bowl. Transfer the mixture to a prepared bowl, cover with an oily plastic wrap or light kitchen towel, and allow it to double up, about an hour or more, depending on the warmth of your kitchen.
  7. Beat the mixture lightly and divide it into two equal parts.
  8. Brush two 8 1/2-inch with 4 1/2-inch bread.
  9. Press each mixture into a thick rectangle of about 8 inches; winding it up, pressing down on the seams, and pinning the last stitch together.
  10. Enter the bread mixture into the pan that has been prepared.
  11. Cover with a thin thin plastic wrap or thin kitchen towel and allow it to double up and the dough has risen about 1 inch above the top edge of the pan, about an hour or more, depending on the warmth of your kitchen.
  12. When the mixture rises, heat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  13. Bake bread for 30-32 minutes until golden and cooked.
  14. Remove from the oven and turn the bread onto a wire rack. Immediately brush the top of the bread with melted butter (or use a butter stick, peel the paperback and rub it on the hot bread).
  15. Let the bread cool completely.
  16. Bread can be stored at room temperature, covered with bread bags, for several days, or frozen for up to a month or more.

NOTE :

I always use all-purpose flour that is not bleached and have not made this bread with all-purpose flour that has been bleached, but I think it will work well. I also make this bread with bread flour as a substitute for all-purpose - delicious if you have it and like extra chewy/sturdy bread!

If you don't have instant yeast, you can dissolve the same amount of yeast in 1/4 cup of water with a little sugar until it is foamy and bubbly then use it in a recipe (add with oil and water).

Like all yeast dough, especially bread dough, I use the amount of flour in the recipe as a guide and encourage you to do the same. The exact amount of flour you use will depend on how you measure flour (this is how I measure flour), climate and temperature where you live (humidity can be a factor), and several other things. Add flour gradually until the texture of the mixture is soft, smooth, and only slightly sticky to the touch.
