Minestrone Soup

Minestrone soup is an Italian-style dish that is usually made as a main dish. This soup is thick with tomatoes that are left to boil. Additional pieces of carrot, smoked meat and macaroni make it quite filling the stomach and it feels like it really.

For: 4 servings

Material :

  1. 200 g onion
  2. 4 cloves garlic
  3. 750 g of tomatoes
  4. 100 g of potatoes
  5. 50 g carrots
  6. 50 g of large celery sticks
  7. 50 g of leeks
  8. 2 pieces of smoked meat
  9. 50 g of cauliflower
  10. 50 g green beans
  11. 4 tablespoons of olive oil
  12. 1,000 ml of chicken stock
  13. 75 g of elbow macaroni
  14. 1½ tsp salt
  15. ½ teaspoon pepper powder
  16. 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese powder, for topping


How to make :
1. Chop the onion, and sprinkle the garlic, then set aside. Brew the tomatoes with boiling water until soft or soft, peel, remove the skin, then chop roughly, set aside.

2. Peel the potatoes and carrots, slice the dice 1 cm. Cut 1 cm of celery and finely slice the onion then slice 1 x 1 cm of smoked meat and slice small cauliflower. Blend the green bean, discard the ends, then cut into 1 cm size, then set aside.

3. Heat the olive oil in a pan, saute the garlic and onions until the aroma smells out. Next, add the chopped tomatoes, stir for a while until it is slightly wilted, add the broth and cook until boiling, add the macaroni, cook until the macaroni is half cooked for about 8 minutes.

4. The next step is to add potatoes, carrots, celery, leeks, smoked meat, cauliflower, and beans. Sprinkle salt and pepper and stir.

5. Cook for a while until all the ingredients are sufficiently cooked, lift and move the dish into a serving container, sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese and some garrisons to complement it to make it more beautiful and enjoyable to look at. Don't forget to serve while warm.
